Ashfield, Sydney

Ashfield is a suburb of Sydney’s inner west located approximately nine kilometres away from the centre of the Sydney CBD. Ashfield is known for being one of Sydney’s multicultural centres. More than sixty percent of Ashfield residents were born overseas, including a large Chinese population who make up fifteen percent of the population. As a result, Ashfield has an abundance of restaurants offering delicious Asian cuisine and several Asian grocery stores.

Ashfield is a very high density suburb, with a much higher ratio of apartments to houses compared to the average in Australia.
