Centennial Park is a small suburb in the Eastern Suburbs, bordered by Paddington and Woollahra. The suburb itself is mostly made up of the Parkland of Centennial Park. Centennial Park accounts for 2.20 square kilometres of the suburb, and the suburb is centred on the streets Lang Rd, Cook Rd, Robertson Rd and Martin Rd. Residents of Centennial Park have access to the green spaces of the Centennial Parklands, which are popular amongst cyclists, horse-riders, and contain many sporting and recreational areas. The parklands are a popular tourist destination and offer you the option to hire a bicycle for the day to tour around the park. Centennial Park’s population as of 2011 was 2,106, and it is part of the City of Sydney.

Centennial Park is also next to the Moore Park Entertainment Quarter, which contains such attractions as the Hordern Pavilion, the Comedy Store, and Fox Studios as well as the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.

Centennial Park was established in an effort to raise money for the parklands developments in the early 20th century, and its houses are free-standing and substantial in a range of architectural styles including Federation and Old English. Many of them are now heritage-listed.
