Cremorne Point is a small suburb on the lower north shore, bordered only by the suburb of Cremorne on its northern side.  Cremorne Point is well-known for it's beautiful Cremorne Point Peninsula Walkway. It goes all around the point and there are no residential developments in the area so everyone is able to walk the foreshore.

Cremorne Point is a quiet and leafy suburb, which is mainly residential. Cremorne Point residents are only a short walk from the Military Road shopping area in Cremorne, and have ferry access to Mosman.  The population of Cremorne Point in the 2011 census was almost 2,000 people with the majority of them of English ancestry.

It is connected to the rest of Sydney by ferry services to Cremorne Point and Old Cremorne ferry wharves. Cremorne Point wharf pontoon was sunk by storms briefly in 2007, but has now been rebuilt and is now fully operational. There is also a working lighthouse of Cremorne Point called the Cremorne Point Light or Robertsons Point Light.

Cremorne Point has no schools, but is within easy access of many North Shore schools, including SCECGS Redlands in Cremorne and Loreto Kirribilli.
