Northbridge is a mostly residential suburb in northern Sydney, which borders Castlecrag, Willoughby, Naremburn and Cammeray. Northbridge has beautiful water views over Long Bay and Sailors Bay, and a sailing club in Clive Park at the eastern end of the peninsula, as well as a golf course, salt water baths, marina and bicycle tracks.

Northbridge is named after what is now known as the Long Gully Bridge, which is a sandstone suspension bridge built in 1892 that spans Tunks Park. Long Gully Bridge is unusual in that it is built in the Federation Gothic style, with medieval embellishments.

Northbridge has several good primary schools, including Northbridge Public School and Shore Preparatory School. St. Philip Neri Catholic School is attached to St Philip Neri Catholic Church, on Sailors Bay Road in Northbridge. Northbridge also has an Anglican and a Uniting Church.
