Petersham, Sydney

Petersham, or Little Portugal as it’s sometimes known, is a leafy suburb in Sydney located approximately six kilometres out of the CBD in the municipality of Marrickville. The population is approximately seven thousand. It has a tight-knit and active community, and is the home of Sydney’s first selective high school, Fort Street High School.
